Behind the Seams
As I finish the Herringbone quilt (tutorial to come soon), I have slowly started to unbox my Quiltworx Jungle Magnolia pattern. This is my first Judy Niemeyer quilt and I am nervous! I'm taking a workshop as well, so hoping for the best. If you are not familiar with her work, you should check it out. Her quilts are so intricate and works of art. I love FPP but she takes it to an entirely different level.

Here is the finished Herringbone quilt that I recently finished piecing and quilting. I loved the colors of the fabric. The fabric line is Speckled by Ruby Star Society

UFO Feature
I am so excited... I have me a lot of progress on the puff quilt! All that is left is the binding. I guess its no longer a 'UFO' since I've been consistently working on it for a few weeks. Nothing is better than finishing up a UFO.
Outside the Studio
Over at the pool house, we just ordered cabinets—and we’re installing them ourselves! Right now, we’re deciding whether to add shiplap to the wall since we’re only doing lower cabinets. I’m leaning toward floating shelves for a more open feel, but I haven’t totally committed yet.
With a few weeks to go before install, you’ll probably find me buried in Pinterest inspo, weighing all the options!
Current Obsession
No matter how many upgrades I make, I always come back to daylight lighting. It’s hands-down my favorite. I’ve stayed loyal to this brand over the years because they consistently deliver on quality and brightness—and that really matters when you’re working with fine details and precise piecing.
As my studio has grown, so has my collection of these lights. Most recently, I had to order another one after moving into a new space. The existing lights just weren’t cutting it—too dim, too many shadows. The minute I plugged in my trusty daylight lamp, the whole room transformed. Bright, clear, and ready for creativity.
